This is used both to display a header for the essay, as well as to make a cataloging record that provides the basic bibliographical reference for the article. This page offers simple instructions for an author to provide the necessary information. This information is entered is a simple table at the top of your Word document. The table has labels located to the left, and an empty box to the right of each label where you enter the relevant information. For example, enter the title of your essay in the box to the right of the box that reads “E-Text Title”; do not enter the title of your essay in the box that reads “E-Text Title.” Please always use the format yyyy-mm-dd (example: 2008-06-08 for June 8, 2008) for entering all dates in the table.
